Welcome to my page. I’m honored to support you in your goals. As a somatic psychotherapist, my approach is about assisting you re-member the innate healing abilities of your body, and challenging old patterns of thinking that have been preventing you from being the best version of yourself.

What is somatic psychotherapy
and how does it work?

Somatic means the body and the techniques I use in counseling are about providing a safe and secure space for clients to process what’s been held in for so long. Often being seen and heard helps the mind release the burdens it’s been accumulating for years if not decades. The process is gentle. It invites curiosity, reconnection, and wonder to all the parts of ourselves. The idea that you can’t be anxious in a calm body only works so well when thoughts are also addressed. Self-limiting core beliefs such as internalized shame or feeling less than are also pivotal. When body and mind are supported in a care environment, healing can happen.

  1. Develop the skill of identifying your feelings and their sensations
    (as well as regulate them)
  2. Explore the root cause of your feelings
  3. Release and process what has been weighing on your nervous system
  4. Realign with the values and beliefs that are more authentic to who you are
